Bagging and Tagging (goods for the Bring and Buy)

One of the things that really helps us out on the Bring and Buy is a good clear method of tagging your items. The other is packing them appropriately.

When creating a label, there are 3 fundamental pieces of information:
Your seller code: Without this, we can’t track your sales (via the seller form we covered last post) and we can’t pay you for the sale.
The price you wish to sell the item for: The amount (in whole dollars) that you will sell the item for. No OBO, no haggling will be done by/with the sales staff, prices on items are firm.
A (fairly) brief description of the item: This helps greatly when someone is looking at a bag of bits and would like to know how many models this would make, etc. You’re more likely to get a sale if it’s very clear to the buyer what it is you’re selling.

You can hand write your labels, or print them. Printing definitely assists with legibility, but it isn’t mandatory. You can also write directly onto certain ziplock bags with a permanent marker, preferably where there is a white space intended for writing on (writing on clear plastic is generally a lot less readable, and in some cases will rub off).

You should end up with something that looks a bit like this:
