1814 – Defence of France

Every year the (Cold Steel rules) Napoleonic gamers in the club hold a multi-day event recreating one of the big battles or campaigns in Europe.

Held over the first full weekend in January, the 2025 event will feature a series of linked battles to determine the future of France.

Visitors are welcome and we would be happy to explain the rules and answer questions regarding ‘our way’ of wargaming the French Revolution and Napoleonic periods.

We will be at the RSL from early morning with a 10:00 start and an 18:00 (latest) finish of play. Usually we stop for lunch (max 90 minutes) around 13:00.
