James Wright ran a tournament for Necromunda at the Croydon venue for Nunawading Wargames Association Inc. (NWA)for fans of the science fiction game.

It is a skirmish game set in the world of Warhammer 40K in the dark gritty future.

Cheezecon - Warhammer 40K on 29 & 30-Oct-05

The month of Cheeze continued with a two day Warhammer 40K tournament.

It was held at the Mitcham venue on the first night.

The battles continued, with the second day being held at Croydon.

Cheezecon - Warhammer Fantasy 8-Oct-05

Cheezecon is a series of fun tournaments in a variety of wargames. They are a tongue-in-cheek celebration of standard tournaments. Ideally suited to beginners and to encourage players to try games they may not normally play.

Cheezecon - Lord of the Cheeze Rings and D&D 14-Oct-05

The month of Cheeze continued with two tournaments at Mitcham.

Lord of the Cheeze Rings was organised by Jeremy Shannon.

D&D Miniatures was organised by the Cheezemeister himself - Craig Wyton.

DBA Tournament 22-Jul-05

DBA tournaments are popular at NWA and always attract plenty of visitors. The armies are small, so don't take long to paint. The basic rules are easy to learn although mastering good tactics takes longer. The Winter tournament this year was well attended. A great variety of armies were on display.
