An army in Epic: Armageddon consists of a number of units, just as in Warhammer 40K. Units are whole companies, rather than platoons. See the article for a sample Imperial Gurd army and some photos of Epic: Armageddon models.

Most tournament style games of Epic are played with between 3,000 and 5,000 points. There are official army lists available for Imperial Guard, Orks, Space Marines, Eldar, Chaos Space Marines and Tau. Many of these also have sub lists or variants, for example the Orks also include a Speed Freak list and a Feral Ork list – the latter featuring those armoured dinosaurs! Similarly, the Eldar have lists for most of the different Craftworlds which gives each Eldar force a particular character. |
