090307awi10aOnce again the Continental Army of the newly declared United States of America were fighting for their independance from the forces of Great Britain at the Mitcham venue of the Nunawading Wargames Association.

Part 1

The forces gather for another important battle in determining whether Great Britain could retain her colonies in North America.

Part 2

Rail fences are typical of the farming land over which many of the battles were fought.

Part 3

The British troops looked resplendant in their red coats and white trousers. But they were a long way from home and fighting against a determined foe.


Part 4

An overview of the battlefield at the start of proceedings. The British are on the left. The Continental Army of the colonists is on the right. Both sides have artillery pieces to help support their cause.
