General Club Information

Nunawading Wargames Association is a non-profit club for those that enjoy wargaming with miniature figures, strategy board games and role-playing games. Located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, the club meets at two venues to cater for its members.

This is for members to organise games and post photos of club meetings and what they are playing, collecting and painting. Only members can post here, but anyone is welcome to browse and enjoy the banter.

NWA Meeting Dates 2017 UPDATED

Details of the Mitcham venue (all year), the existing Croydon venue (until end August) and the new Croydon venue (from September)

Come along and enjoy friendly tabletop wargaming with miniature figures. Historical games of all periods, fantasy, steampunk and science fiction. Also strategy board games and role playing games. Learn how to paint miniature figures, make great scenery, improve your tactics and above all, have fun.

Mitcham Venue

Nunawading Wargames Association Inc. has 2 venues in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.

The Mitcham venue is at the Mitcham Uniting Church Hall on Maroondah Highway (also known as Whitehorse Road). Meetings occur here usually every 2nd Friday from 7pm to midnight.

Croydon Venue

Nunawading Wargames Association Inc. has 2 venues in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, running on alternate weeks. One is at Mitcham (alternate Fridays) and the other is at Croydon (alternate Saturdays).

The Croydon venue until the end of August 2017 is at the Croydon Uniting Church Hall in Tallent St, Croydon. Meetings occur here usually every 2nd Saturday from midday to 6pm.

The Croydon venue from September 2017 will be at the Croydon RSL at 1 Civic Square. Note that Civic Square is a U shaped road and has 2 entrances from Mt Dandenong Rd. The correct one is westerly one; closest to the lights of Mt Dandenong Rd and Main St. Meetings occur here usually every 2nd Saturday from midday to 6pm.
